The other is STPI's earth station located at Saravanampatti in the KGISL campus.
Satyam, Dishnet, BPL, Caltiger & Wipro are some of the ISPs present in the city. Other facilities available include Fiber optic cables, quality telephony, and ISDN lines on demand for wide bandwidth requirements to name a few.

The city's more than 100 IT companies' export turnover quadrupled in the last 2 years. The areas of operations of these firms include Voice Over Internet, Text to Speech, Virtual Instrumentation, Telecom and Internet, ERP, E-commerce - development, service and 24 x 7 customer support, CAD/ CAM, dotcoms and the entire array of IT Enabled Services. These companies have also attracted angel/venture capital funding from multinationals like GE Caps, Intel, Draper, etc. all made possible by the city's well planned air, rail, and road commutations, excellent telecommunication network, well distributed and privatized power generation, good comfortable hotels and international airport.
