Engineering Design Services (TESCO Engineering - USA)

The Engineering Design Services Team at KGISL soon evolved into a multi-faceted team of skilled engineers with experience in design, engineering analysis and product development. The division rapidly expanded its service capability to provide a spectrum of services in CAD/CAM, Modeling, Analysis, and Product Data Management with growing flow of jobs.

Continuing on its ever-consistent pursuit of quality excellence, KGISL Engineering Design Service Division achieved the EN ISO 9001:2000 certification for standardization of its Design Services Operations quickly followed up with CMM Level 4 certification benchmarking its quality services offerings at a global level.

• The Engineering Design division operating as per EN ISO 9001:2000 certified processes offered measurable time and cost benefits to TESCO in design services.

This has been one of KGISL's most successful operations on an ongoing basis. KGISL continues to provide the design offshore support to TESCO's total satisfaction.

Fully recognizing the enormous potential and opportunity for value addition to its business processes, TESCO has and KGISL have begun exploration of a transition towards a joint partnership in form of a Joint Venture with TESCO taking more involved and active involvement in the business unit. With the formalization of this JV, the KGISL Engineering Design Unit will hive off a separate dedicated design unit as an independent business entity proposed to be named as TESCOKG. This entity will become TESCO Engineering USA's offshore design arm and the center for all design work for TESCO's operations.
