PLSQL & ODI Developer

Mandatory Skills:

• Relevant experience in Database design, AWS compute and DB services.
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and database modelling.
• Experience in PL/SQL constructs like writing new PLSQL functions, procedures, triggers, packages, collections.
• Experience in performance tuning (optimizing the queries for large data, analysing AWR reports, explain plan etc.)
• Knowledge of partitioned and non-partitioned tables, indexes, temporary tables, and external tables.
• Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.

Desired skills:

• Experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and building large Data Warehouse involving multiple data sources and targets.
• Design and develop complex mappings, Process Flows and ETL scripts in ODI.
• Knowledge version tools like GITHUB/GITLAB
• Automating routine database activities using Powershell/Bash script

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business areas to understand business objectives, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience in design, develop, and maintain logical & physical data models for both transaction processing and data warehouse systems.
• Manage SQL server and Oracle databases through multiple environments, from development to production systems.
• Proactively monitor the databases systems (Oracle, SQL Server) and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement configuration for Optimized Database Performance.
• Good Knowledge in designing and implementing the E-LT architecture that is required to build data warehouse, including source-to-staging area, staging-to-target area, data transformations, and EL-T process flows.
• Support business needs by delivering and monitoring ODI jobs, Integrations and frameworks.
• Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language
