“By the end of 2025, 30% of organizations will have implemented an autonomous automation strategy and will outperform competitors in quality and customer experience satisfaction metrics.” – Gartner. To know how, read the report.
According to Gartner, “Autonomous testing comprises AI- and ML-based technologies and practices to make software testing activities independent from human intervention. It continuously improves testing outcomes by learning from the collected data from performed activities. It extends traditional test automation beyond the automated execution of test cases to include fully automated planning, creation, maintenance and analysis of tests”.
The need of the hour is for testing at both large scale and high velocity to ensure high-quality software delivery. As business strives to adopt changes faster, the dependency on human expertise restricts how quickly they can deliver products and updates to the market. Autonomous Testing solves this issue by applying AI and ML-based technologies and make the resting process independent from human intervention.
