KGiSL gets globally recognised ISO 27001:2013 for Information security in Data Centre and IMS Support

KGiSL joins the elite club by acquiring the International Certification for Management of Information Security in Data Centre Management and Operations covering all Support Functions. By meeting the certification standards, KGISL affirms its commitment to information security of its clients and also demonstrates its ability to consistently deliver quality outputs by driving continuous improvements to products, services, and internal processes.

ISO 27001:2013 was introduced and intended to help organizations dealing with data to establish and maintain an information security management system that is secure and effective by implementing continuous improvement approach. It is a part of the ISO 27000 family of standards related to information security. The certification mandates any company to have an information security management system, which means having a documented process for managing sensitive internal and external company information, HR processes, and IT systems.

Qualifying and maintaining the certification requires rigorous and repeated external assessments and demands, where applicants meet high standards of risk management and security control.
