The client was currently using the legacy application that was provided by the third-party vendor which is a common application for all the Insurance Companies. Agents login to the application and issue e-covers, submit the documents and effect payments. Although, complete control of the application was with the third party and making company’s database vulnerable to be accessed by the third party vendor.
