A surge in small business loss claims creates processing backlog
Many small business customers are raising claims notifying of losses due to the current pandemic. This has led to significant surge in claim/loss notification–with an estimated volume of 800-1,000 claims per day, overwhelming back office operations.
5 bots have been leveraged to reduce overhead of claims adjudicators allowing back offices to focus on claims processing. The rapid development and deployment of these bots has facilitated the department’s ability to address initial first notice of loss tasks, including letter generation and responses to small business customers.
Current daily average of processed claims are 200-300.
